Celtic Sands

We really enjoyed ourselves and close to the beach. But the nice thing as we had family staying right next door so we spent a lot time over there in the pool. It was very nice that we were able to have extra people stay with us since the house next door was full.

Comfortable home within walking distance of the beach
Cozy house with plenty of space for the whole family to relax together or separately. Easy walk over to the beach with all of the beach necessities provided in the garage. We enjoyed several stellar sunset views from back deck. AC was repaired when we were there, so we were all very comfortable during our peak summer stay. Will definitely stay at Celtic Sands again!

I brought my employees and family here for 4 days. The house was amazing. Great location from the beach, and sits right on a canal of the Back Bay. House was clean, and had everything we needed. Kitchen was large enough to have 12 people standing around and still have room to cook. The dining room table was out favorite part, because that is where we sat and shared our daily experiences and made lifetime memories. The few things I would recommend the owner do is to replace the hvac system with a new one

Celtic Sands has the perfect set up for what I needed for my company get away. We have rented Celtic Sands twice now and will again for the 2025 company get away.

The house was very well equipped! Kitchen had everything we needed too.
Beach chairs and umbrella available were all in good condition. Lots of games and options at house if you don’t want to go to beach.
Fun time at a fun place!

We were in Sandbridge for a long weekend with our family and 2 of our sons’ friends. This house was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out, beautiful view of canal and a dock (we rented kayaks). Easy walk to the beach. Recommend, would definitely come back.

Celtic Sands was a super choice for our first family beach week in 5 years. As life long OBXers we were most impressed with the beach cottage style of the house and the easy walk to the uncrowded beach. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and the kitchen was extensively equipped. We appreciated the extra refrigerator, grill tools, beach chairs, and the outside shower. Access to the house and the back yard through the garage was was wonderful. The kayak dock was especially nice for our kayakers who enjoyed paddling along the canal to Back Bay. We loved Jose Tequila's for lunch, although parking was minimal. The back deck was a favorite spot as was the sunroom (in the early a.m.) We would have been able to appreciate the view from the deck were it not for the tree (infested with insects) blocking much of the view. Although the house was a great fit for our family, there were a few things that would have made us more comfortable. Having only a few hooks on the wall in the bedrooms with no closets was not sufficient. An armoire in those rooms would help. Only one bathroom upstairs to serve four bedrooms, was difficult and having no lock on the door made for numerous awkward moments. The same is true regarding no lock on the powder room door on the main level. The extra full bath on the bottom floor was very helpful when everyone needed showers at the end of the beach day, but again no lock. All in all we loved the house, but the no lock bathrooms were a deal breaker for some of our family. Put locks on those doors and we will be back!
