Beach Haven 213D - Oceanfront!

There are so many wonderful things to say about this property. It was clean, well furnished, large rooms, high ceilings, large washer and dryer, the kitchen had everything you could need, and the location was fantastic - great views, quiet area, but close to a little supermarket, and the beach was right across the street. There was also a large storage closet (specifically for our unit) which easily housed surfboards, beach chairs, etc.
A few things to note about the property - the garage is very low; watch your tail gate if you open it! The property management company was good. While they initially sent us confirmation for the wrong dates (one week prior to our trip - small heart attack!) the system glitch was resolved and the reservation was corrected. When we had trouble with the door code on our unit, the operator was responsive and helped to quickly resolve the problem. Overall, it was a great stay!!

We absolutely loved this property. This was our first time staying here, and we plan to come back. We loved the laid back feel but also loved having the store, a restaurant, and a couple ice cream places a short walk nearby. The property was very clean, well maintained, and had a great beach feel.

This was a wonderful place to spend the winter. The views were absolutely beautiful. I was able to watch dolphins from every window. The condo felt safe, clean and well decorated.

Perfect location for our trip - 2 families with young kids. The beach is so close making the day flexible. Shopping, dining and ice cream within a short walk! This is such a nice part of VA Beach. We have stayed by the boardwalk previously and this was far better for our family trip. I highly recommend this unit! It was way bigger than the pictures suggested. Nice surprise.

We really loved this condo. It was incredibly spacious and the view of the water was unbeatable. The place was pretty well stocked with all the amenities you need for a week-long stay. The access to the beach was quick and easy, and the extra storage closet in the parking garage was a huge help. With one of our family members in a wheelchair, accessibility was incredibly important to us. The pool was also great for the kids. The only few complaints we had were: the code that was emailed to us for access to the condo did not work. We had to call the emergency line when we arrived at 8pm to get a different code. Also, it was never made clear that there was a different code to access the parking garage and elevator. Also, the height of the parking garage is too low for travelers with SUVs with luggage racks on top. We had to remove ours in the parking lot before parking in the garage. Finally, the cleanliness of the condo itself was lacking. We found old goldfish, toys, and crayons under the furniture, and everything was a bit dusty. There were also several minor cosmetic issues and a few broken items here and there around the condo, but nothing that affected our stay. Besides those few things our vacation was wonderful, and we would recommend.
